2005 Annual Hong Kong Club Committee Board Members
The 2005 Annual Hong Kong Club Gala party took place at the Drury Lane Theatre on the evening of Sunday, March 6th, 2005 from 6:00 pm to midnight. Hong Kong Club committee board members gathered along with their family and friends for a fun and festive night of celebration and entertainment. This year, we were honored to celebrate alongside special guests: Illinois Lieutenant Governor, Pat Quinn, Will County State Attorney, James Glasgow, Senator, Mattie Hunter, China Consul General, Jinzhong Xu, State Representatives, Ken Dunkin of the 5th District and Jim Meyer of the 48th District, Bolingbrook Mayor, Roger Claar, Chief of Staff, Gene Lee and Red Cross Representative, Nicholas Perrino.
The gala kick started with cocktails, a video presentation, the inauguration ceremony and introductions of the special guests. After the speeches from the members and guests, everyone enjoyed a nice dinner as the entertainment takes over the stage. For 2005, the Moonstone Circus, Lanny Shum, Camy Tang and more were able to put on extravagant performances for the guests, members and attendees.
The night came to a close once again, with the annual raffle drawing which offered many prizes from cash sums, jewelry, electronics and airline tickets amounting up to $3,800.
