2004 Member Appreciation Picnic

Hong Kong Club members, along with family and friends, enjoyed a relaxing and fun picnic outing at the Blackwell Forest Preserve Park in Warrenville. Along with their spouses and children, committee board members: Peter Chan, Tak Ming Lee, Francis Yip, Alan Chu, Eden Chan, Chris Huang, King Tse, Dobby Yu, Bennie Chu, Josephine Luk, Rita Ho, and Pian Yue came to the outing on Sunday, July 11, 2004.

There were many fun and entertaining activities for both children and adults alike. We had a wide open area for everyone to run and play around, along with delicious food and refreshing drinks and fruits to keep us hydrated. This year, we also got to do some fishing with our friends at the beautiful forest preserve. Everyone had a great time bonding and having a great time. Committee board member, Pian Yue, won first place in our fishing contest.

Due to the success of last years' picnic, we had a greater turn up this year with more children and elders. The more the merrier they say, and isn't that the truth. Thank you to all those that came out to join us in the festivities, we hope to see even more people next year.
