Committee Board Members take a group photo on stage
The 2004 Annual Hong Kong Club Gala took place at the Drury Lane Theatre on the evening of Sunday, February 29th, 2004 from 5:00 pm to midnight. This year’s gala were honored to feature and celebrate with special guests: Emil Jones, Jr., Senate President, Jesse White, Secretary of State, Jinzhong Xu, Consul General of China, Mattie Hunter, Senator, Roger Claar, Mayor of Bolingbrook, Donald Randich, Mayor of Crest Hill, James Ariango, Police Chief of Crest Hill, and Gene Lee, Deputy Chief of Staff.
Along with the masters of ceremony, David Wong, BeiBei Que and Claire Zheng, the committee members, special guests and attendees were able to enjoy entertaining performances from Chan Mei Kwong, Jenny Chung and Michelle Yim. Besides special singing and dancing performances, a singing contest took place with special judges: Annie Chung, William Cheng, Edward Ma, Rose Yip, Angel Chu and Dobby Yu. The top three contestants were awarded with cash prizes.
The night concluded with the much awaited raffle drawing where anyone can have a chance at bringing home cash, tickets, electronics and more.
