Hong Kong Club members, along with family and friends, enjoyed a relaxing and fun picnic outing at the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, Palos Division Area Pulaski Woods. Along with their spouses and children, committee board members: Alan Chu, Tak Ming Lee, Eden Chan, Peter Yau, Dennis Lai, Francis Yip, Eddie Lau, Yvonne Chang, Chris Huang, King Tse, Dobby Yu, Josephine Luk, Paul Lau, Rita Ho, Jim Wong, and Anita Wong came to the outing on Sunday, July 13, 2003.
There were many fun and entertaining activities for both children and adults alike. We had a wide open area for everyone to run and bike around, along with delicious food and refreshing drinks and fruits to keep hydrated. This year, we also got to do some fishing with our friends at the beautiful forest preserve. Everyone had a great time bonding and having a great time.
Due to the success of last years' picnic, we had a greater turn up this year with more children and elders. The more the merrier they say, and isn't that the truth. Thank you to all those that came out to join us in the festivities, and thank you to our wonderful gift sponsors: Alan Chu, Tak Ming Lee, Francis Yip, and Eden Chan. We're hoping to see even more show up for our 2004 picnic outing.
