2003 Annual Gala photograph of the Hong Kong Club Committee Board Members
The annual Hong Kong Club Gala dinner party took place on Sunday, March 2nd, 2003 from 5:00pm to 12:00am at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook. The committee board members and special guests gathered with performers and attendees to celebrate and commemorate the special guests and members. Secretary of State, Jesse White, opened the ceremony with a special light show and a greeting as masters of ceremony, David Wong and Michelle Yang took over to entertain and introduce the festivities for the night. The inauguration of the Board of Directors, the singing of the Hong Kong Club anthem by Rose Yip and the oath delivered by Judge Richard Siegel followed by a speech given by our club president, Edan Chan. The awards were presented and Senate Illinois President, Emil Jones, delivered his speech. Following the awards and speech, the performers of the night went on stage to liven up mood of the gala. The dinner came to a close with Peter Yau hosting the raffle drawing.
